BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Vice-Governor Jeffrey Ferrer has confirmed that Sixth District Board Member Valentin Miguel Alonso, his wife, a secretary, two household staff, and two other people who might have had contact with the city’s Patient 18 all tested negative for COVID19, results from the provincial testing facility show.
Ferrer told DNX the RT-PCR results for Alonso and the six others was issued by the molecular laboratory at the provincial testing facility based at the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.

“Salamat, salamat. Now I can continue serving without fear of infecting anyone,” Alonso told DNX, only several hours after he had confirmed that he had underwent a specimen swab early today.
