BACOLOD CITY — It was probably for a date.

But shoplifting suspect did not get to use the P89-body spray he allegedly attempted to pilfer out of the 7-Eleven Convenience Store along Lacson Street as he was caught red-handed.

Suspect Carlo Guimarangan, 26 was caught by security guard John Mark Vivar, 6 January 6, 1 a.m. and was then endorsed to Police Station 2 led by Police Corporals Robert Glenn Prioli, and Richmond Rainer Teruel.

Meanwhile, two still unidentified men robbed a “sari-sari store” or mini convenience store in sub-village Tangkong, village 7 last 5 January 11 p.m.

Cezar Ian Acibug, according to a blotter report, was informed by his friend Christian Harder that a phone worth P6,500 and P8,700 in cash were taken by two male suspects.

A diner in Mang Inasal San Agustin Drive branch, however, suffered more than the loss of a few items as his entire bag was taken from him in an apparent case of salisi.

Diner Domenic Romello fell victim to the modus operandi while having his lunch at the chicken outlet last 6 January 2:30 p.m.

An unidentified male person stole his sling bag placed beside him as recorded by a CCTV footage of the establishment.

Romello’s bag contained legal IDs, two ATM cards, a phone, bank documents and more or less P13,000 cash.
