BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A Capitol spokesperson here has confirmed three new COVID cases, pushing the number of confirmed patients to 27 as of today, 17 June, a day after Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson had signed an executive order extending the modified general community quarantine until end of this month.
The new cases – Patients 26, 27 and 28 – are all locally-stranded individuals, or those who were prevented by quarantine restrictions in other provinces to come home.
Patient 25*is male, aged 30, from Hinobaan town who came from Bohol town.
Patient 26 is male, aged 24, from Escalante City while Patient 27 is female, aged 19, from Cauayan town.
Both 26 and 27 came from Cebu City.
