CHO recommends lifting of ultra-risk area in Banago; close contacts of Patient 9 tested negative

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Bacolod City Health office has recommended the lifting of the ultra-risk zone in the sub-village of Bayanihan, village of Banago here, a media advisory from Bacolod City Hall said.

Bacolod update

The recommendation came after Bacolod’s Patient 9, along with 13 of her household contacts, has been discharged from city’s quarantine facility last 10 May, 2020. Their RT-PCR results came out negative, and they have also completed their 14-day quarantine period.

The patient and all household contacts have been asymptomatic while in the facility.

Patient 9 was a 65-year-old female resident of Banago who tested positive last 26 April, 2020.

She had no reported travel history.
